Program a SMART Recycling Bin
A hands-on coding lesson using AI and micro:bit
In this lesson, students will program a Smart Recycling Bin that uses AI image recognition and a servo motor to automatically identify and sort recyclable waste. Using Google Teachable Machine and micro:bit, students will train an AI model to recognise Plastic and Tissue Paper, then connect it to a servo motor that opens and closes the bin lid automatically.

ThinkerCad is an easy to use applications for 3D Modelling, Electronic Circuit Design and coding. In this course, participants shall learn how to use the features of the ThinkerCad to do projects that require the design of circuits using the virtual microbit/electrical/electronic components available on the apps, write codes to enable and do simulation to test out the circuits that were designed.
