Program a SMART Recycling Bin

A hands-on coding lesson using AI and micro:bit

In this lesson, students will program a Smart Recycling Bin that uses AI image recognition and a servo motor to automatically identify and sort recyclable waste. Using Google Teachable Machine and micro:bit, students will train an AI model to recognise Plastic and Tissue Paper, then connect it to a servo motor that opens and closes the bin lid automatically.
